The Institute of Islamic Areas Studies and the Institute of Asian, African, and Middle Eastern Studies hold:
A Visit of Teachers from Islamic Schools to Sophia University
as a part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Islamic School Teacher Invitaiton Program from the Southeast Asia
(Thursday December 5, 2024)

The Institute of Islamic Area Studies, with the Institute of Asian, African, and Middle Eastern Studies welcomed the Islamic School teachers from Indonesia, in response to the request of the Japan Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It was a part of the Islamic School Teachers Invitation Program from Southeast Asia.

With the initiative of KUSHIMOTO Hiroko, members of the two Institutes, KAWASHIMA Midori, AKAHORI Masayuki, FUKUTAKE Shintaro, UCHIYAMA Chie, and a graduate student participated in the exchange program.
