When predicting accent patterns for homophones, meaning must be considered. However,
the role of meaning has not been discussed due to technical difficulties. This article reports
that the accuracy of accent-pattern prediction can be improved by giving word meanings
as vectors. Such vectors also allow machine learning models to predict accent patterns
without phonological features.
