“Exploring Trilateral Cooperation: Working at an International Organization”

This is a public lecture event focusing on the work of the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) — an international organization set up in 2011 by Japan, China, and South Korea to promote peace and common prosperity among the three countries. H.E. Ambassador OU Boqian, a high-ranking Chinese diplomat who now serves as its Secretary-General, will speak about the work of the TCS and the challenges it faces, while Ms. SAKAI Marina, a Sophia graduate (Class of 2014) will speak about her own experiences working for this organization. This event should appeal to people interested in the TCS, in regional cooperation in East Asia, or in a career in an international organization.
