On the 10th of July, 2023, sponsored by the Australia-Japan Foundation grant “”Re-centring Australian Contributions to the Occupation of Post-WWII Japan (Rowena Ward/Kazuto Oshio),” three DES junior students collaborated with counterparts at University of Wollongong and presented their research findings on Trans-national Life Story of Women: War Brides in Australia. The commentators included Professors Yasuko Kobayashi and Vicki Crinis.
