▸Dr. Jim McKinley (UCL, London University)

Jim McKinley is Associate Professor of Applied Linguistics in Higher Education at the Faculty of Education and Society, University College London. Before moving to the UK, Jim was an Associate Professor at Sophia University, where he taught for 11 years. His research targets implications of globalization for L2 writing, language education, and higher education studies, particularly the teaching-research nexus. Jim has written numerous articles on second language writing, research methodology and English Medium Instruction. He is also an Editor-in-Chief of the journal System, and a co-Editor of the Cambridge Elements book series Language Teaching (Cambridge University Press).
