★The library is closed during lunch hour from 11:30 to 12:30.
★Graduate school students major in Language and Linguisitics are free to use the library as far as following the L513 user policy.
★The library is available for the Graduate school students not in major of Linguistics, Undergraduate students, SOLIIFC members and the faculty of Sophia University only when the receptionist is present.
★The alumni, library members and students of partner universities under library use agreement can use the library only when the receptionist is present.
Holiday Closure Notice
Due to the university’s holiday, the Library office (Room L513) will be closed from December 23, to January 4.
From December 23 to January 4 , only students of the graduate school of languages and linguistics and faculty are allowed to enter the room 513.
We apologize for the inconvenience.

Notice of Update to Solific Library Users’ Guide (As of August 1st, 2025)
Please be informed that the User’s Guide of Solific library regarding alumni and Friends of Sofia Library member is updated as of August 1st, 2025, and presenting official ID cards at the reception desk before entering the Solific library is not required any more.
Please just present the following:
-Alumni who is not a member of Friends of Sophia Library: One-day user card issued by the Central Library
-Friends of Sophia Library member: Sophia library user’s card issued by the Central Library
