Speakers:
Prof. Daisaku Higashi, Professor at Sophia University in Tokyo. Prof. Higashi is a leading scholar on mediation and peacebuilding in Japan and published multiple books on ending the War in Ukraine and peacebuilding in South Sudan, Afghanistan, and Iraq, including, How Can We End the War in Ukraine? (Iwanami 2023) and Inclusivity in Mediation and Peacebuilding (Edward Elgar 2022).

Prof. Serhii Plokhii, Mykhailo S. Hrushevskyi Professor of Ukrainian History, Department of History and Director of the Ukrainian Research Institute at Harvard University. He recently published the book, The Russo-Ukrainian War: The Return of History (W.W. Norton 2023).

Dr. Daniel Koss, Associate Senior Lecturer on East Asian Languages and Civilizations, Harvard University. His publication includes Where the Party Rules: The Rank and File of China's Communist State (Cambridge University Press, 2018).
