The future of health in Sub-Saharan Africa
– Moving towards health systems which promote equitable access to quality healthcare services
What institutional arrangements are necessary to enable equitable access to quality healthcare services for all? Dr. Irene Agyepong, who works both as a health administrator and researcher in the health system in Ghana and in other LMIC settings, will discuss what needs to be done to progress towards UHC. The session also invites others who work in global health and health policy and the audience to interact with Dr. Agyepong to deepen understanding and widen perspectives on the issue.
