Seminar Concept
Where is Myanmar heading for? Regarding the nation-state building in Myanmar (Burma), this seminar will focus on the period of Burmese Way to Socialism, when the state philosophy was re-examined and the fBurmese Wayf socialist state was built. What was the political and cultural context of this period in Burmafs modern and contemporary history? How was Burmese peoplefs desire for liberation from colonialism developed in this thought? What will emerge from the comparison with Poland in Eastern Europe? We would like to examine from various perspectives at this seminar.
