Japanese Relocationはアメリカ政府によって製作された第二次世界大戦中のプロパガンダ映画であり、何万人もの日系アメリカ人を収容所に入れるという政府の決定に対して作られたものである。これは1952年にアメリカ大統領になるアイゼンハウアーの兄弟Milton S. Eisenhowerが監督を務めた。この映画はドキュメンタリーの形式を取っており、何万人もの日本人や日系アメリカ人がカリフォルニア州からアーカンソー州、オレゴン州、ワシントン州、ワイオミング州、コロラド州、アリゾナ州、アイダホ州の収容所に移る過程を見せている。この映画はナレーターが何故この決定が最善であったかについて説明することから始まり、日系アメリカ人が仮収容所から強制収容所に移る際いかに幸せそうで協力的であったかを見せる狙いがある。
Japanese Relocation is a World War II propaganda film produced by the U.S. Government in response to their decision to relocate thousands of Japanese American citizens against their will and hold them in internment camps. It's hosted by Milton S. Eisenhower brother of Dwight D. Eisenhower who became President of the United States in 1952. The film is done documentary style showing the process of relocating thousands of Japanese and Japanese-Americans from California to internment camps in Arkansas, Oregon, Washington, Wyoming, Colorado, Arizona, and Idaho. It starts out with the narrator explaining the reasoning and why it's what's best for everyone and goes on to show the happy and cooperative Japanese as they move through the relocation center to a home in an internment camp.
