Announcement of Program Change and Event Cancel of Special Lecture and Panel Discussion “US - Iran Relations: A Sad Saga” with Dr. Hamid Dabashi, Professor in Columbia University in N.Y., at Sophia University

A special video lecture by Dr. Dabashi has been cancelled for various reasons. However, we will carry out Panel Discussion "Post-Orientalism, Japan and Iran". We look forword to your visit.

The Center for Modern Middle East Studies at the National Museum of Ethnology and Center for Islamic Studies in Sophia University, under NIHU Area Studies Project, regrettably announce the cancellation of Professor Hamid Habashi's visit to Japan and accordinly some events that had been planned, owing to unavoidable circumstances.

However, Dr. Dabashi kindly offered our Japanese audience a special video lecture from New York. Here is a modified program;
