Japan Society of Social Science on Latin America (JSLA) and the Iberoamerican Institute at Sophia University will host a special online lecture by Prof. Diego Sánchez-Ancochea, Head of the Oxford Department of International Development. The lecture is entitled “Inequality in Latin America: What it Means for Theory and Policy”.
Latin American thoughts on development have always been at the front in search of a new paradigm to tackle their structural problems. Expansion of inequality is the most crucial issue which we are confronting under the global pandemic crisis. The recent academic work of Prof. Sánchez-Ancochea is full of new insights to discuss this topic.
