We live in the age of globalization. People, goods, capital, information can now flow across national borders, leaving individuals and organizations under its profound influence. This explains desperate efforts by governments all over the world to limit specific kinds of cross-border interactions while promoting others. And the processes of these policy choices tend to invite intense crash of interests and resulting political conflicts both inside and between nations. My research focuses on how the states control globalization and, conversely, how the globalization changes the role of sovereign states, mainly from the perspective of political science. I look forward to exploring this puzzle with you!
