Print Subscriptions

A yearly subscription to the printed journal (two issues) is available for ¥4,598 in Japan and $40.00 (USD) or €42.00 overseas. To subscribe, please complete the subscription form and send it to the MN office. For information on digital subscriptions, please see below.

Complimentary copies of the printed journal are available to institutions that do not have access to Project MUSE and JSTOR or are unable to purchase a subscription due to financial difficulties. For further details, please contact the MN office.

Back Issues

Recent back issues and some earlier ones are available directly from MN. For volumes 1–62, back issues are $15.00 (¥1,694, €16.00) per copy, plus postage. For volumes 63 and beyond, back issues are $25.00 (¥2,497, €26.00) per copy, plus postage. For availability, please email the MN office.

Online Availability Current and past issues

Since volume 60 (2005), the journal has been available online through Project MUSE. The complete collection of back issues is available on JSTOR with a five-year moving wall.
