１９４４年１０月、ドイツ国境に近いフランスの町ブリエア。4年にわたるナチスドイツの支配からこの町を解放したのは、小柄で東洋系の顔をしたアメリカ兵だった。彼らは日本人を親に持ちアメリカに育った二世達で、ハワイや強制収容所から欧州戦線に赴いた。これは親族や子孫のために、アメリカにおけるどの民族よりも勇敢に戦い、自らの血で祖国アメリカへの忠誠心を示した日系兵士たちの５年間の戦闘記録である。

They were Nisei who had Japanese parents, grew up in the US, and went to the European front from Hawaiian islands and internment camps. This is the five years record ofJapanese American soldiers who fought bravely for their parents and offsprings, and proved their loyalties to the US by showing their blood.
