Purpose and Description:

The present research project is intended to examine the nature of language teacher proficiency by Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT), a standardized assessment for measuring the level of language teacher’s professional knowledge and skills. The result is expected to serve as a yardstick for assessing the effectiveness of training courses for in-service as well as pre-service language teachers.
