Research Title :Effective integration of content and language in CLIL

Purpose and Description :

This study explores how CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) can be best implemented in the Japanese educational context, focusing mainly on the integration of content teaching and language instruction in CLIL lessons. Data are collected from primary, secondary and tertiary classrooms, which will be analysed, theorised and eventually presented as teaching tips so that CLIL practitioners can easily use them in class.

Research Title:The Role and Effects of ALTs in English Education

In this survey we will look at the role of ALTs in English education in Japan. The survey will look at the role of ALTs from multiple perspectives, including the way they are incorporated in the classroom as well as the language used in the communication between ALTs and Japanese teachers and students.
