 This lecture would introduce mixed race identity theory by Asian Americans of mixed race ancestry theorists, practitioners and
scholars (George Kich, Michael Thornton, Stephen Murphy Shigematsu, Christine Iijima Hall, Maria Root, Teresa Williams-Leon & Rika
Houston,) as well as introduce lecturer’s own model.  With the exception of Maria Root, the scholars/models featured are
predominantly by scholars of Japanese ancestry (with mothers born in Japan & they may all be Japan born as well).
