Qualifikationen

1. BewerberInnen müssen vor der Bewerbung zumindest ein Semester als ein Abschluss anstrebender Vollzeitstudent an der Heimatinstitution studiert haben.
2. BewerberInnen werden von der/dem zuständigen KoodinatorIn in der Heimatinstitution nominiert.
3. BewerberInnen müssen sich mehr als 12 Jahre in offiziellen Bildungsstätten ausgebildet haben.

(German-Japanese Exchange Program ist nur für Undergraduate Program angeboten.)

*Bitte beachten Sie, dass das Bewerbungsverfahren sowie die notwendigen Unterlagen des speziellen Programms nicht die gleichen wie die des regulären Austasuchprogramms sind.

*Bitte beachten Sie auch, dass man nur die Kurse nehmen kann, die im Bachelor-Studiengang angeboten werden.

Allgemeine Informationen

Purpose of Program The purpose of this program is to expand the possibilities for students from the partner universities in German-speaking area, who are strongly interested in learning Japanese language as well as deepening their knowledge about Japan comparing with Germany and Europe. For this purpose, applicants will not be required of any academic standard, but will be expected to learn Japanese language intensively. Besides Japanese language courses, Department of German Studies offers courses, where German and Japanese students study together and mutually enhance their knowledge linguistically as well as academically one another.

*Courses outside the Faculty of Foreign Studies: It is necessary to meet the Language requirements set by the Faculty.
*It may be necessary to consult with instructor and obtain the permission beforehand to take some courses.
Areas of study not
available or limited
FLA (Faculty of Liberal Arts) core courses (Basic Skills, English Composition, Public Speaking, Thinking Process), Language courses (except Japanese), and Studies in Christian Humanism courses are NOT open to exchange students.
Language requirements Courses in Department of German Studies: Japanese Level A2 of CEFR is desirable
English-taught courses in FLA, Faculty of Science and Technology: TOEFL iBT 79, TOEFL PBT 550, IELTS 6.0, or TOEIC730
apanese-taught courses in the Departments other than the Department of German Studies: Level N1 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test may be required (depends on the Department)
